This is a tracker, not a reader. It does not show the biblical text. You read in whatever Bible or app you like, and use this beside it to tick off what you have read, down to the individual verse, across all 66 books, 1,189 chapters, and 31,102 verses.

Why verse by verse?

Most trackers only go down to the chapter. If you do not read a whole chapter in one sitting, a chapter checklist cannot show where you actually are. Tracking each verse fixes that, and it makes the whole-Bible progress map possible.

Is my reading private?

Completely. There is no account and no server that stores your data. What you tick is saved only in your browser on your device. See the privacy page for the whole short story.

How do I move my progress to another device or keep a backup?

The backup page turns your whole reading history into one small image or code. Save it, or open it on another device, and your progress comes with you. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Which numbering does it use?

The King James (KJV) versification, the most widely tabulated scheme, chosen as a superset so that verses some modern translations omit still exist as real slots. If you read a translation that numbers a few places differently (some Psalm titles, a handful of New Testament verses), those specific spots may not line up exactly; this is a known limit of any single scheme, not an error.

How accurate is the chronological order?

It is one era-by-era ordering, and it is honest about the fact that scholars disagree on where several books and passages belong. Where placement is genuinely debated, the chronological page says so rather than hiding it.

Do the reading plans track separately?

No, and that is the point. Every plan reads from the same verses you tick anywhere on the site, so a verse read once counts in every plan at once. Pick a pace, not a separate scorecard.
